The Novel Section 132 is Based On Facts
Section 132 tells the story of Lillian, an American girl forced to marry into a polygamous Canadian sect, sharing her young life with many sister-wives.
The reader follows Lillian’s dramatic struggle to free herself from the brutal sect and the chilling consequences of such an unheard of disobedience.
Section 132 states that only those men who live The Principle of Plural Marriage will enter the highest celestial kingdom and become a God (see original wording of Section 132, paragraph 20). The women who refuse to live the principle (paragraph 64) shall be destroyed.
